Our live TV viewing is via an outdoor antenna. LG was recommended as having a superior tuner. Unfortunately we found it no better than the TV it replaced. It is however a larger frame which we also wanted. It has a multitude of wireless interconnectivity which we dont use as this TV placement is primarily to watch AM PM newscasts.

This is the primary monitor on my PC and it has been superb in that role. Huge screen of course it replaced a 32 device from a different mfr very high resolution fast enough response to keep up with cursor movements etc. I also play background music through it - and its more that adequate for that purpose - the speakers dont sound tinny at all and the volume is high enough. I have it connected via HDMI to the HDMI port of my dock - that turns out to be critical because I first connected it to a DP Display Port connector via a DP-HDMI cable and that configuration supported only a very low resolution barely HD cut off a bunch of pixels from all 4 edges etc. Now Im getting 3840x2160 and can see all of those pixels. So if the display is disappointing you make sure youre driving the connection from a device that can support the full resolution youre aiming for. As a monitor Id rather not use the remote after the initial setup - and the single control button - holding it in for about 2 seconds will turn the unit on at the beginning of my work session and holding it in for about 3 seconds will turn it off reliably. A shorter interval will put you into the menu and the single button allows reasonable navigation through the menus. If you want to do something subtle in the menus put the batteries back in the remote and give yourself more buttons to work with - but mine is staying in the desk drawer. Im using the provided stand as opposed to a wall mount and it is more than adequate to the purpose.

TV was delivered during a power outage so much to my dismay I had to wait to set up. Once I could set it up turned it on and the screen images were all distorted and it looked like there was a crack. Called my online retailer and they had me pack up the damaged TV and brought another TV the next day. Once it was set up again WOW how great Went from an old 27 inch to a 43 inch LG and it has been a wonderful viewing experience. Looking forward to watching the Masters in a larger colorful sharper imagery golf match Still learning all the features available but truly enjoying this purchase

High Quality Picture Sound

Ive had my 43 Thin UHD TV for a month now and the picture and sound definition is wonderful. The only flaw is an X shaped figure that appears on at the top of the screen. I originally thought it was a piece of packing tape or fingerprints but its not anything on the screen. I appears to be something internally. Its a little distracting depending on whether the screen display is bright. It disappears when the action is in shadows or in subdued light. It would be a hassle to bring the TV back and replace it so Ive learned to live with it. Otherwise its a very nice TV.

Its the perfect size for their room has all of the apps they need to watch a broad variety of streaming services and has a much better picture and many more features than the 43 inch Toshiba unit we have in our bedroom. We bought this LG TV 5 months ago for our guest bedroom so we didnt watch it as much. It had great picture color we were happy with our purchase. It then started to turn itself off the back on again repeatedly. We contacted LG and we went through a 1 1/2 hrs check list then referred to a repair man who came to our home replaced the appropriate boards inside it works perfect now. LG was quick to fix this issue we are happy with our TV.

This is my third LV game tv. I would not buy any other brand. My only complaint is that they no longer use a pedestal for the stand. Instead they use two stands one on each end of the tv. This limits the size of the tv stand you can use. However its an excellent tv with a great clear picture and sound. Highly recommended.

Definitely pleased with the features in the TV at a reasonable price point. Easy to navigate and utilize the features as well. I will eventually upgrade to the Magic Remote. The basic remote crams a lot of buttons into a tight space. Its too early to hit a wrong button.

Picture great software and remote not so great

Have had this for a few weeks. The picture is great and the sound from the TV speakers is pretty good. The remote design is not good and cheap. In this day and age of streaming the numbers are not as important as the play pause fast forward and fast rewind buttons. In fact I do not use the more accessible and larger number buttons. This remote has the larger numbers at the top of the remote and the really small most used buttons at the bottom. You cannot even hold the remote with one hand and use those lower buttons. I swapped the remote for a universal one that I had lying around. The web os software programming is not real good either. Even with the settings set to return to home screen the TV when first turned on will switch to the first live LG channel on the list after a 2 minute timer times out. Very annoying. If you switch that setting to not go to the home screen on start up it will go the first live LG channel available not to where you last left off.

Since I got this TV I have not been able to get PBS or NBC on my set. I have scanned and rescanned but only get ABC part of the time. I guess I will have to replace my antenna. I wish my old TV was still working I also got hung up in the process to get Pluto and my attempts to get it were unsuccessful. The instructions on the use of the remote are inadequate. The picture is much better on the station I can still get but that doesnt make up for all the problems.

I bought the LG TV a little over a month ago. We always liked LG TVs not only for the picture but the sound quality is so much better than any other we have seen at friend or relatives homes. We down sized the TV because the room didnt need as big of screen on the TV we replaced. I can not think of any cons. Connectivity was a snap even an old person like me could set it up.
